Who I Am
Hey, I’m Alan — a driven and curious network engineer who enjoys building things from scratch, breaking them (intentionally or not), and figuring out how to make them better. I built my own home lab with Cisco routers, switches, and a UniFi AP to simulate enterprise-level networks right from my room.
What I Do
In this lab, I work on technologies like VLANs, OSPF, NAT, ACLs, and EtherChannel — all configured through the CLI. I use tools like Wireshark to troubleshoot and verify everything. I’m CCNA certified and currently exploring cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Why I Built This Lab
I’ve been mentored by a Senior Network Admin and taught to approach problems like an engineer — not just a student. This lab is where I sharpen my skills and stay ready.
Outside of Tech
I’m big on growth — physically, mentally, and professionally. I train hard in the gym, stay disciplined with my routine, and put that same energy into learning and career development.
This Website
This is my digital space to document my journey, share what I learn, and connect with other professionals. Whether you’re here to hire, collaborate, or just see what I’m building — welcome.
